Distance Learning Initiative Begins Spring 2008:
Under the aegis of the Chancellor & Title III grant funds, the campus will be launching a professional development program aimed at preparing faculty to teach courses online. The distance learning certification program includes rich and varied support for faculty, including stipends,training, and assistance with the Sakai (Laulima) course management system. Applications for admission to the program/stipends will be made available via department chairpersons and the campus intranet (Quill). Informational sessions about the program will be held at CELTT prior to the application deadline.
Deadline for Spring 2008: January 22,2008

Dream Scheme Application (PDF Form)
If you've got a good idea - one that will make our campus a better place to learn and/or to work-we want to help you make it a reality. Apply to the Dream Scheme and when your application is chosen, the Leadership Support Committee (LSC) will work with you to create a Dream Team-a group of campus movers and shakers who will follow your lead in making your dream come true. Learning Communities Institute application (PDF Form)
Do something amazing for your students and for yourself: create a learning community. A learning community is the joining together of two courses. Students in LCs report increased understanding of interdisciplinary interconnectedness, increased sense of belonging in the course and in college, and increased sense of the fun of learning. Teachers in LCs report increased engagement with their own and partner disciplines and with teaching and increased sense of connectedness with students. Apply to the LCInstitute to begin planning an LC and to qualify for LC-related reassigned-time. This year's LCI will take place May 15, 16 & 17, 2006, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm each day.

Transformed for Learning Cohort (TLC) Application (PDF Form)
The 2006-2007 Transformed for Learning Cohort is now accepting applications. If you are accepted into the cohort, you will get 3 credits of reassigned time to join with 4 of your colleagues in a mutually-supportive team with the purpose of redesigning the curriculum of one of the courses you teach.
